ODOO'S FUNCTION
In standard Odoo, taxes are configured directly on each product. Product categories do not influence tax setup, so users must manually assign taxes to every product, which can be time consuming and inconsistent.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo enhances the tax configuration process by introducing:
\t1️⃣ The ability for tax settings to be defined at the product category level.
\t2️⃣ Automatic inheritance of the customer and vendor taxes from the category whenever a product is created or its category is changed.
This allows for a simplified configuration process and improves accuracy, ensuring all products within a category have consistent tax settings without manual intervention.
1. Go to Inventory → Product Categories – Set Customer and Vendor Taxes. Note: If the products already have taxes in product form --> in Sales/Purchase Orders, the taxes will be taken from the product form instead of those from the product category.
2. Go to Sales → Orders - Create new Sales Order and choose the product from Product categories All/ Saleable / Office furniture. The taxes will be added automatically.
3. Go to Purchase → Orders - Create new Purchase Order and choose the product from Product categories All/ Saleable / Office furniture. The taxes will be added automatically. |
